Great Friday for Finn!
Instead of chilling out and eating chocolate over the Easter bank holiday weekend like the rest of us, Finn Harrod, our sponsored cyclist, was taking part in a track race in London on Good Friday where he raced in the world class Olympic velodrome facilities at Lee Valley. The competition began with a qualifying round, where all cyclists battled to ensure their place in the main event. To qualify, the cyclists had to finish in the top half of the opening race, and Finn successfully completed this heat to get through to the main event. Finn competed in the remaining races, where he got 2nd place in the elimination race – he pushed himself to the limits as you can see in the photos below!
Whilst he is disappointed not to get a win in the other 2 events, he wasn’t far off the mark, so he’s pleased with how the weekend went, and the team at Highlander think it was an eggcellent result!
