CONFIDENTIAL WASTE DISPOSAL ACROSS SCOTLAND
Our public shredding drop off service is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Shred and recycle any volume – small or large – of your redundant or unwanted confidential waste papers in a secure, safe and environmentally friendly manner.
We operate three industrial shredders, with a combined shredding capacity of 10 tonnes of paper per hour, so there's no need for you to undertake the monotonous and time-consuming job of shredding documents at home. Once shredded, 100% of your materials are recycled, with your confidential waste paper shredded to EN15713 standards and recycled to EN643 standards throughout the process. Wherever you're based nearby, our shredding drop off service offers a quick, secure alternative to shredding in-house.
HOW DOES OUR PROFESSIONAL SHREDDING DROP OFF SERVICE WORK?
On arrival at our East Kilbride site, you'll notice the Public Drop-Off sign and a dedicated parking area (marked with yellow lines at the front of the building). All you need to do is reverse park and press the buzzer; one of our confidential waste disposal experts will arrange for your bags to be taken away for shredding and recycling – all done on the same day!
You'll be charged £3.30 per bag (typically a bin bag or carrier bag) or box of confidential documents, and given a receipt for your records.
This also includes a "declaration of destruction", signed by your shredding advisor, as a guarantee that your confidential waste drop off will be destroyed securely and responsibly, to EN15713 standards.
If you'd like to see your documents being shredded, we can take you to our viewing area, where you can watch your confidential papers shredded and baled for recycling.
We can also provide a certificate of destruction for extra verification and security. This is sent to you on completion of shredding, at an additional charge of £1.20.
To make future visits even easier, we can supply self-sealing, double-ply confidential waste bags to securely store your paperwork between drop-offs. These super-strong bags are only £1.20 each, with a further £1.20 charged when you return to shred your paperwork. Bags are always in stock and available for collection at any time, entirely at your convenience.
