Highlander recently added another new truck to the fleet with the introduction of a 26 ton 3 x 2 curtain side vehicle with fold-away tail lift feature. This will allow us to collect large volumes of heavy materials such as large bales, pallets or tubs. With a net weight carrying capacity of almost 16 tons, this will provide the company with improved collection efficiencies and will allow us to provide a better service to our customers by allowing us to collect larger volumes, less frequently, thus cutting down on the number of visits required to clear the recyclable materials generated at our customer operations.
The truck is available to cover the central belt and beyond and we are looking to collect regular supplies of cardboard, printers waste, redundant advertising materials and any other waste paper grades that are available – we guarantee market leading prices and a service that is second to none!
Stephen Duffy commented: “This truck size and type has been on our radar since the summer and with the growth of the company continuing unabated, the time was right for us to make this purchase and add it straight to the fleet – we are now able to collect loads of up to 16 tons and can now lift heavy materials without the aid of a forklift with our tail-lift function at the rear of the vehicle.
We would be delighted to be of service to any companies in the central belt who produce large volumes of waste paper in bales, on pallets, in tubs or in any form – we specialise in providing service to printers, fulfilment and mailing companies, small recycling companies and many others.
We believe with this fleet addition, coupled with the existing collection infrastructure we have the best collection options of any paper recycler in Scotland – we can provide the complete service from providing containers, installing recycling machinery, collection service and recycling options for a wide range of materials – please contact us to arrange a no-obligation, free of charge waste survey which we are certain will save your company money and increase your recycling rates”
